Before you start…

There's a few things you'll need

• You'll need a basic understanding of your construction works, and the ownership of boundary structures. Check out the basics here.
• We recommend that you have drawings of your proposals ready for upload at the end of the questionnaire. Existing and proposed drawings are great, and if you're undertaking notifiable excavation, you must have a plan and section showing their depth and location.
• You'll need to have the names and addresses of the neighbours upon which you're going to serve notice. Check out our guide to identifying who you need to serve on and attaining their details here.
